Having no money 'aint very funny
Having no future, poverty created by you...
You politicians don't have any worries
But what do people like me have to do
Empty lives surrounded by despair
Victims of a system that continues and fails
Millions of people drifting to nowhere
Living in life's coffin as the government
Our lousy government, hammer in the nails

Our financial structure has crumbled to bits
Industry collapses, fail to succeed
Put more out of work, close down our pits
Blame it on the workers greed
They say that the recovery is near
That our country is back on the rails
But it don't look like that from here...

People losing their homes and self respect too
Unrest among the masses is rising each day
As they bring in new laws to put down the people
No one gives a dawm what the governement say
Survival of the toughest is the law of the land
Trying to make ends meet, only their effort fails
This government's corruption ruined many lives
